SlidesBeing new in the field of DevOps can be overwhelming and incidents don't happen every day. What if there was an easy way to train in a lab like environment? I'll show you a "behind the scenes" of intar, the open source DevOps training platform I'm currently building.
intar uses ephemeral VMs running on cloud-hypervisor to isolate training workloads, called scenarios. A scenario can be a misconfigured nginx, not serving traffic or a broken k8s cluster. SSH is used to connect to the VM and fix the scenario.
Our journey takes us from starting a scenario down to the VM layer. We'll explore how VMs are set up to run a scenario. After fixing a scenario together, I'll guide you back to the surface where we sit around the campfire and talk a bit about the future of intar.
